Dr. Martha Mutis, DDS, MA, MPH, EdD, is currently the National Chair of the Research Initiative at the Hispanic Dental Association. Currently, the research team has four active projects, and projecting 3 more for 2024, to approach the different needs and topics of interest in oral Health.
Dr. Mutis also serves as Regent of Section XX at the International College of Dentists, where she was one of the founding leaders of the International Task Forces in 2013. She is also board member of the American Association of Hospital Dentistry (AAHD). She also is consultant for the Pan American Oral Health Organization, and for the Latin American Association of Pediatric Dentistry. Since 2019 Dr. Mutis has been fellow researcher of The Research Group on Disparities in Health (RGDH) at Columbia University.
