The HDA Research Team started to collect and analyze data, expecting to influence several policies affecting oral health among Hispanics and other minorities. This session will highlight the outcomes of the study as it relates to the current oral health status, dental needs, and utilization of dental services influencing U.S. Hispanic populations of all ages at the state and national level.

Learning Objectives:

Recognize oral health challenges faced by Hispanic populations and become better prepared to overcome the impact on access to care.
Identify social determinants contributing to oral health inequities among Latino communities and the relevant policies influencing these disparities.
Understand how data influences policies for diversity and inclusion in the dental workforce.
