A one-hour presentation and interactive discussion on ethical considerations and issues that may arise when treating geriatric patients, to be offered at no charge. Participants should be prepared for an entertaining and thought provoking back and forth discussion centered around the five ethical pillars of the ADA’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will gain familiarity with and apply the principles of ADA’s Code of Ethics to practical, contemporary scenarios within an accessible yet focused setting.
  • Attendees will be exposed to the ethical dilemmas that dental practitioners face when treating members of the aging or geriatric population.
