This Presentation is a case-based course focusing on the clinical applications of CBCT in various fields of dentistry, including endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, implantology, and maxillofacial surgery. You will review case studies and clinical examples that demonstrate the unique benefits of CBCT, such as enhanced visualization of complex anatomy in endodontics, better recognition of contradictory symptoms, improved procedure predictability, precise measurement of bone, and improved accuracy of implant placement and evaluation of orthodontic treatment outcomes.
Learning Objectives:
Identify clinical endodontic case scenarios that would directly benefit from 3-D CBCT evaluation
Learn how the use of CBCT could positively impact different stages of an implant surgery
Define the benefits of 3-D airway analysis in patients with risk of obstructive sleep apnea
