Knowledge of anti-infective agents provides you with the ability to make sound clinical decisions when assessing risk of infection as well as choosing the most appropriate anti-infective agents for administration. This Presentation will focus on the management of acute oral infection with anti-infective agents, including potential risks, adverse effects, and contraindications. You will also understand the current guidelines for prophylaxis of infective endocarditis and joint replacement infection.
