Sree Koka assumed his current role as dean of the School of Dentistry on April 5, 2021. He is responsible for management of the school’s education.
Koka received his D.D.S. and his M.S. in prosthodontics from the University of Michigan, his M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management and his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska.
Koka is former interim chair of Restorative Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry and former clinical professor in Advanced Prosthodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He is a Fellow and past president of the Academy of Prosthodontics, a past president of the International College of Prosthodontists, and former chair of MIT’s Sloan School of Management Alumni Board. He has published more than 100 journal articles and book chapters and lectures extensively nationally and internationally. He has been a reviewer for NIH grants and been a principal investigator on grants funded by NIH and industry sources. In addition, Koka is the co-founder of the Future Leaders in Prosthodontics (FLIP) and the Shaping the Future of Implant Dentistry workshop series.
