Dr. Manuel A. Cordero is the Executive Director and CEO of the Hispanic Dental Association. Dr. Cordero was one of 180 health professionals selected for the Surgeon General report workshop, which would highlight the importance of oral health on systemic health. He was honored as Dr. David Satcher keynote speaker in 2020. He has been involved in helping Dental Organizations to enhance and educate their members clinically in order to better serve the communities they serve.
He has a Secondary High School Education Degree from Bryn Mawr College and a Liberal Arts BA from Haverford College in PA before his Dental education at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. He received his Certification In Public Health Administration at UMDNJ.
Serving his family, patients, and his profession has taken most of the past 45 years and now his focus is on eliminating healthcare inequalities. His ultimate goal is to organize the Hispanic Oral Healthcare Professionals under one roof in order to give Hispanics a voice at a time when they are the largest minority in the USA and continues being the Giant Mute in the room.
