This workshop covers the practical application of principles learned in intro course “TMJ” – How does it apply to every day dentistry? to actually treat TMD cases at a basic level. Lecture + hands-on demonstrations on volunteers, attending doctors get hands on experience in evaluation and diagnosis of TMD cases. This micro-residency in Physiologic Neuro Muscular Occlusion prepares dentists to apply this knowledge, ‘Monday morning’ in their practices. Symptomatic or asymptomatic TMD patients needing quadrant restorative care, partial and complete dentures could be treated more confidently!

Perform a TMD clinical examination competently
Diagnose and manage most TMD patients effectively
Record physiologic bite relation for stability in restorative and TMD cases
