This Presentation is an interactive and comprehensive update on CBCT radiographic interpretation. It focuses on the importance of developing an analytical strategy to systematically review different types of dental images. You will discover the critical role pattern recognition plays in recognizing the nature of different jaw pathologies (benign, malignant, fibro-osseous, etc.) and will discuss clinical cases with differential diagnosis. You will also understand the most common pathologies associated with paranasal sinuses and their significance.
Learning Objectives:
Develop a strategy to evaluate any 2-D or CBCT imaging study systematically
Correlate the radiographic appearance of pathological processes with their underlying pathophysiology
Evaluate paranasal sinus anatomy and pathologies including different types of odontogenic and non-odontogenic sinusitis
