You may find it difficult to consistently obtain profound anesthesia for dental procedures in the mandible. Even with accurate needle location, there is no guarantee of pain control. This Presentation will review aspiration risk, needle selection, buffering, Gow-Gates, Vazirani, Akinosi, and differential nerve block techniques.
